Mercury Brand Guidelines

The Mercury logo can only be used if you have an existing partnership agreement, and you’ve reached out to your Mercury contact to secure formal approval from the brand experience team.

If you have received permission to use our logo or other trademarks, follow these guidelines.

The Mercury Logo

Our logo is the foundational element of our visual identity. It was designed to be simple, memorable and versatile — to be a flagship identifier for who we are and what we do. Consistent and careful application of our logo is the key to an effective visual identity.

Our Preferred Logo

We prefer the use of our primary logo for the majority of placements.

There is a reversed version if there are constraints to using the preferred version.

Don’t modify or distort the logo, change any colors or add additional elements.

Clear Space Area

To maintain the integrity of the logo and prevent overcrowding in compositions, a minimum space should be kept clear from other graphics. This area of isolation ensures that any copy or other visual elements are separated from the logo.

As a rule of thumb, the clear space around the logo should be equal to the height of the "pixel” in the symbol.

The Mercury Color Palette

Color is a powerful way for us to identify ourselves in a crowded industry environment. Using the brand
color palette consistently will create a recognizable visual cohesion that will help distinguish our
communications from other competitors.

You may not use the Mercury brand color in your own materials, outside of approved Mercury logos or affiliation badges.

The Mercury Type Face

Typography is an important component of the Mercury visual identity system. GT America is Mercury’s primary typeface, providing a precise, modern, technical and professional look to our branded communications.

Although we prefer the look of GT America, it is primarily for marketing materials and presentations where we can control the output or viewing experience. Any Mercury communications (other than a PDF) that could be viewed, printed, edited or appended by the recipient should use Arial.

Partner Badges

We rely on our valued partners to deliver powerful and innovative solutions based on Authentic Mercury hardware. Program badges allow communication of valued partner relationships and quality products. Partners are only allowed to use the appropriate badge based on the current partner level.

Partner and Technology Badges follow the same clear space and minimum size guidelines as our flagship logo lockup and symbol.
