This DRAFT version of the Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) is made available to manufacturers of Peripheral Products and to manufacturers of access control and alarm monitoring products.

The purpose of its distribution is to solicit comments and to promote the acceptance of an open communication standard between Peripheral Devices and access control and alarm monitoring panels.
